OS X Server 10.4 (Tiger) Tutorial 14-16

The OS X Server 10.4 (Tiger) Tutorial sections 14 through 16 are now up.

The final three lessons shows you how to configure the VPN Server and connect to it using a client, how to set up the Print Server and lastly, the QuickTime Streaming Server. Click here for the tutorials.

That pretty much wraps up the OS X Server tutorial for now. I may write an addendum for some stuff that wasn’t covered.

The continuing lessons shows you how to set up Apache web server, FTP server, and the firewall. Click here for the tutorials.

OS X Server 10.4 (Tiger) Tutorial 6-10

The continuing lessons shows you how to use Workgroup Manager to set up and manage network accounts and groups, create share points, set up the mail server, and configure the mail client.

That’s a long sentence.

OS X Server 10.4 (Tiger) Tutorial 1-5

The OS X Server 10.4 (Tiger) Tutorial sections 1 through 5 are now up.

It goes over basic requirements needed to get your server up and running, followed by lessons on setting up DNS services and Apple’s Open Directory. Click here for the tutorials.

This is the first run of this tutorial so I’m sure there are typos and mistakes here and there, but I’ll be editing and refining it as I go along. Feel free to ask questions and take part in discussions.

Speaking of which, I’ll get a Bulletin Board up soon to supplement the comments section.
